Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SOX12 (SRY-related HMG-box gene 12) is a member of the SOX family of transcription factors, playing a crucial role in various biological processes, including development, differentiation, and maintenance of stem cell pluripotency. Recent studies have highlighted SOX12's involvement in essential cellular functions, such as regulation of gene expression, cell fate determination, and its implications in cancer biology, particularly in promoting malignancy and tumor progression. Overexpression of SOX12 has been linked to poor prognosis in several cancer types, suggesting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Research into SOX12's functional mechanisms has prompted the generation of recombinant SOX12 proteins to facilitate in vitro and in vivo studies. These recombinant proteins aid in elucidating SOX12's role in transcriptional regulation and its interactions with other cellular proteins. Understanding the molecular pathways influenced by SOX12 can provide insights into its function in normal physiology and disease pathogenesis, thereby paving the way for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in cancer and other disorders. Given the growing interest in SOX12, the characterization and functional analysis of its recombinant protein are expected to contribute significantly to the current knowledge of stem cell biology and cancer research.
