Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DDX54, a member of the DEAD-box RNA helicase family, has garnered attention in molecular biology due to its potential roles in RNA metabolism, including RNA splicing, translation, and decay. The DDX54 protein is characterized by its conserved motifs, which are essential for its ATP-dependent RNA unwinding activity. Studies indicate that DDX54 may participate in cellular stress responses and have implications in various diseases, including cancer, where alterations in RNA processing are frequently observed. Research on DDX54 recombinant protein aims to elucidate its structural and functional properties, as understanding the mechanisms of action can provide insights into its biological functions and regulatory pathways. This knowledge could pave the way for the development of targeted therapies and diagnostic tools that exploit the unique features of DDX54 in disease contexts. Given the increasing interest in RNA helicases as therapeutic targets, the recombinant expression of DDX54 provides an essential tool for exploring its functions in vitro and in vivo, thereby contributing to a deeper understanding of RNA-related processes in health and disease.
