Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SOX10 is a transcription factor belonging to the SRY (Sex-determining Region Y)-related high mobility group box (SOX) family, crucial for the development of neural crest cells and pigmentation. Mutations in the SOX10 gene are associated with several genetic disorders, including Waardenburg syndrome and Hirschsprung disease, which highlight its role in neural crest differentiation and function. Research on SOX10 recombinant proteins focuses on understanding its structural and functional properties, as well as its interactions with DNA and other proteins. By producing SOX10 as a recombinant protein, researchers can investigate its molecular mechanisms in cell differentiation, migration, and its regulation of target genes involved in neural crest lineage commitment. Additionally, studies involving SOX10 recombinant proteins can help elucidate the pathways disrupted in diseases associated with SOX10 mutations, paving the way for potential therapeutic approaches. Overall, the characterization of SOX10 through recombinant protein technology is essential for advancing our knowledge of neural crest biology and its implications in developmental disorders.
