Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SNX8 (Sorting Nexin 8) is a member of the sorting nexin family, which plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including endocytosis, membrane trafficking, and receptor recycling. The protein's primary function revolves around its participation in the retrieval of membrane proteins from endosomes, thereby maintaining cellular homeostasis. Researchers have shown that SNX8 interacts with several components of the endosomal sorting pathways and is involved in the regulation of signaling pathways associated with cellular growth and proliferation. Given its significant roles in cellular dynamics, SNX8 has emerged as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in various diseases, particularly in cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and other pathologies linked to membrane trafficking dysfunctions. The study of SNX8 recombinant protein not only facilitates a deeper understanding of its structural and functional properties but also paves the way for exploring its potential roles in disease mechanisms. Investigating SNX8 through recombinant technology allows for the production of large quantities of the protein, which is crucial for detailed biochemical assays, structural analysis, and the development of potential interventions that could modulate its activity in disease contexts. Understanding the biophysical characteristics and biological implications of SNX8 may provide critical insights into its contributions to cellular physiology and pathology, ultimately leading to novel therapeutic strategies targeting SNX8-associated conditions.
