Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Pycard, also known as PYD and CARD domain-containing protein, is a crucial component in the regulation of the immune response, particularly in the context of apoptosis and inflammation. The protein plays a significant role in the formation of multi-protein complexes known as inflammasomes, which are essential for the activation of inflammatory caspases and the subsequent secretion of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Research has indicated that Pycard is vital for pathogen recognition, as it serves as a platform for the assembly of signaling complexes in response to various microbial infections. Dysregulation of Pycard and its associated pathways can lead to inflammatory diseases and have been linked to conditions such as autoimmune disorders and chronic inflammatory diseases. Given its pivotal role in the immune system, understanding the structure, function, and regulation of Pycard has become a focal point of research. Studies on Pycard's recombinant protein can provide insights into its interactions with other signaling molecules and its mechanisms of action in immune responses. Unraveling these complexities could pave the way for novel therapeutic approaches targeting Pycard-related pathways, making it a promising area of exploration in immunology and therapeutic development.
