Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CRTC3 (CREB-regulated transcription coactivator 3) is a key protein involved in regulating gene expression in response to various signaling pathways, particularly those activated by hormones and nutrients. Its role is critical in processes such as metabolism, neuronal function, and cell survival. Emerging research has linked CRTC3 to the regulation of gluconeogenesis and energy homeostasis, highlighting its importance in metabolic disorders like type 2 diabetes and obesity. Additionally, CRTC3 interacts with transcription factors like CREB (cAMP response element-binding protein), modulating their activity in response to cellular signals. Studies have revealed that the dysregulation of CRTC3 can lead to various pathologies, including cardiovascular diseases and neurological disorders. The structural studies of CRTC3 have been pivotal in understanding how post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation, influence its coactivator function and stability. As obesity rates rise and metabolic syndromes become increasingly prevalent, a deeper understanding of CRTC3 and its mechanisms could open new avenues for therapeutic interventions targeting metabolic diseases, making it an essential focus in contemporary biomedical research.
