Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CYP20A1, also known as cytochrome P450 20A1, is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes, which are crucial for the metabolism of various endogenous and exogenous compounds. This protein has garnered significant attention due to its unique biochemical properties and potential physiological roles. Research into CYP20A1 has been motivated by its implications in steroid metabolism, drug detoxification, and the biotransformation of fatty acids, which are vital for maintaining homeostasis in diverse biological systems. Moreover, studies have indicated that CYP20A1 may be involved in the metabolism of pharmaceutical compounds, making it a potential target for drug development and personalized medicine. The recombinant expression of CYP20A1 in suitable systems allows for the investigation of its enzymatic activity, substrate specificity, and regulation, providing insights into its function and relevance in health and disease. Understanding CYP20A1 may also open new avenues for therapeutic interventions, especially considering its potential roles in various pathophysiological conditions. Therefore, the study of CYP20A1 recombinant protein is critical for elucidating its biological functions and exploring its applications in biomedical research.
