Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DKK4 (Dickkopf-related protein 4) is a member of the Dickkopf family, which plays a crucial role in the regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway, a critical pathway for cell proliferation, differentiation, and development. Research on DKK4 has gained substantial interest due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases, including cancer, bone development, and neurodegenerative disorders. As an antagonist of Wnt signaling, DKK4 can inhibit the pathway's activity, thereby influencing cell fate and tissue homeostasis. Studies have indicated that altered expression levels of DKK4 are associated with conditions such as osteosarcoma and other malignancies, where its upregulation can promote tumor growth and metastasis. Additionally, DKK4 has been implicated in bone remodeling and is believed to play a role in the regulation of osteoblast and osteoclast activity, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in osteoporosis and other bone-related diseases. With the increasing recognition of DKK4's multifaceted roles in health and disease, the development of recombinant DKK4 proteins for experimental studies is essential. These recombinant proteins provide tools to investigate the molecular mechanisms of DKK4 in cellular contexts, elucidate its interactions within signaling pathways, and ultimately contribute to the understanding of its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in various pathologies. Thus, ongoing research focuses on the production, characterization, and functional analysis of recombinant DKK4, promising to unveil critical insights into its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
