Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DLG3 (Discs Large Homolog 3), also known as PSD-95/SAP90, is a key scaffolding protein primarily expressed in the brain, playing a crucial role in synaptic regulation and neurotransmitter signaling. It is part of the postsynaptic density (PSD) and interacts with various proteins, including NMDA and AMPA receptors, which are vital for synaptic plasticity and memory formation. Research into DLG3 has gained momentum due to its implications in neurodevelopmental disorders and cognitive impairments. Mutations and dysregulation of DLG3 have been associated with conditions such as intellectual disability and schizophrenia, highlighting its importance in neuroscience. The exploration of DLG3 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate their structural and functional properties, thereby enhancing our understanding of synaptic mechanisms. Characterizing DLG3 through recombinant technologies can provide insights into its role in synapse formation and maintenance, as well as its potential as a therapeutic target for cognitive dysfunction. The study of DLG3 is pivotal in not only advancing basic neuroscience but also developing strategies for intervention in neuropsychiatric conditions, making it a significant focus within the field of molecular and cellular biology.
