Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC6A11, a member of the solute carrier family, encodes a neurotransmitter transporter primarily involved in the reuptake of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), the principal inhibitory neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. This transporter plays a critical role in regulating GABAergic signaling and maintaining neuronal excitability. Abnormal SLC6A11 function has been implicated in various neurological disorders, including epilepsy, anxiety, and depression, emphasizing its importance in maintaining mental health. Research on the recombinant protein of SLC6A11 aims to unravel its structure-function relationship, facilitating the understanding of its transport mechanism and the impact of genetic variations on its activity. By producing and characterizing this protein, scientists can explore potential pharmacological interventions targeting SLC6A11 to treat neurological disorders. Additionally, the study of SLC6A11 may provide insights into the broader mechanisms of neurotransmitter transport and the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating synaptic transmission. Understanding the dynamics of SLC6A11 will not only enhance our knowledge of GABAergic signaling but also contribute to the advancement of treatments for conditions associated with dysregulated neurotransmitter systems.
