Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DNMT3B (DNA Methyltransferase 3B) is a crucial enzyme involved in the process of DNA methylation, which plays a significant role in gene regulation, cellular differentiation, and maintaining genomic stability. Abnormalities in DNMT3B expression and function have been linked to various diseases, including cancer, where altered methylation patterns can lead to oncogene activation or tumor suppressor gene silencing. The study of recombinant DNMT3B proteins has gained attention as researchers aim to better understand its structure, function, and interaction with DNA and other regulatory proteins. By producing recombinant DNMT3B in systems such as E. coli or insect cells, scientists can obtain large quantities of the enzyme for biochemical assays, structural analysis, and high-throughput screening of potential inhibitors. Understanding the enzymatic mechanisms of DNMT3B and the regulation of its activity may provide insights into novel therapeutic strategies for diseases associated with abnormal DNA methylation. Furthermore, investigations into the various domains of DNMT3B, including its catalytic function and regulatory motifs, can enhance our knowledge of epigenetic modifications and their influence on cellular processes. Overall, research into recombinant DNMT3B proteins is essential for deciphering the complexities of DNA methylation and its implications in health and disease.
