Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G4D, also known as phospholipase A2 group IV D, is an important enzyme involved in the metabolism of arachidonic acid and the regulation of inflammatory responses. It is classified as a secretory phospholipase A2 and plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, including cellular signaling and the production of bioactive lipids. The dysregulation of PLA2G4D has been linked to several pathological conditions, such as neuroinflammation, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases, making it a potential therapeutic target. Recent advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production and purification of PLA2G4D, facilitating studies on its structure-function relationships and enzymatic activity. Characterizing PLA2G4D in vitro allows researchers to better understand its role in lipid metabolism and its contribution to disease mechanisms. Moreover, the generation of specific inhibitors or modulators of PLA2G4D could provide valuable tools for therapeutic interventions. Ongoing research seeks to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms governing PLA2G4D expression and activity, which could lead to novel strategies for treating inflammatory and metabolic disorders. The exploration of PLA2G4D as a biomarker for disease progression further highlights its significance in clinical research. Overall, the study of PLA2G4D recombinant protein not only enhances our understanding of its biological functions but also opens new avenues for drug development and therapeutic applications.
