Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC35F2 is a member of the solute carrier (SLC) family of transporters, which are crucial for the transport of various metabolites across cellular membranes. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of SLC35F2 in multiple physiological processes, including nucleotide sugar transport and its potential role in glycosylation pathways. Dysregulation of SLC35F2 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer and metabolic disorders, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of SLC35F2 protein allows for detailed functional studies, enabling researchers to investigate the protein's transport mechanisms, substrate specificity, and interaction with other cellular components. This research is critical, as understanding the role of SLC35F2 in cellular processes could provide insights into its contribution to disease pathology and identify novel biomarkers or therapeutic targets. The development of recombinant SLC35F2 also facilitates the exploration of its structural and functional characteristics, which are essential for designing inhibitors or modulators that could alter its activity in a disease context. Overall, the study of SLC35F2 and its recombinant protein plays a pivotal role in advancing our knowledge of transporter biology and its implications in health and disease.
