Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PLA2G10, a member of the phospholipase A2 (PLA2) family, has garnered attention due to its role in various physiological and pathological processes, including inflammation, cancer, and neurodegenerative diseases. This enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of phospholipids, leading to the release of free fatty acids and lysolipids, which are critical mediators in cell signaling. The understanding of PLA2G10's function is crucial because it may influence the progression of diseases where lipid metabolism and inflammatory responses are pivotal. Recent studies have suggested that PLA2G10 may have therapeutic potential as a biomarker or target for interventions in specific diseases. Therefore, the recombinant production of PLA2G10 is essential for exploring its biochemical properties and developing potential drugs or diagnostic tools. Techniques such as recombinant DNA technology allow for the expression of PLA2G10 in host systems, enabling large-scale production for functional assays and structural studies. Through these investigations, researchers aim to elucidate the enzyme's mechanism, interactions, and regulatory pathways, contributing to a better understanding of its biological significance and potential applications in medicine.
