  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

CTNNAL1, or catenin alpha-like protein 1, is a key player in cell adhesion and signaling pathways, particularly in the context of cellular morphogenesis and stability. Recent studies have highlighted its roles in various biological processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and migration, suggesting its involvement in carcinogenesis and tumor progression. The protein interacts with the Wnt signaling pathway, which is critical for developmental processes and has been implicated in numerous cancers when dysregulated. Additionally, CTNNAL1 has been shown to bind to various proteins that affect cytoskeletal dynamics and cell motility, further underscoring its importance in maintaining cellular architecture and function. Recombinant protein studies of CTNNAL1 are essential for elucidating its specific molecular functions and interactions. Understanding the mechanisms by which CTNNAL1 influences cell behavior could provide valuable insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer and other diseases associated with aberrant cell adhesion and signaling. As research continues to explore the multifaceted roles of CTNNAL1, the development of techniques to produce and study this recombinant protein is pivotal for advancing our knowledge in cellular biology and oncology.
