Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
MYO19, a member of the myosin superfamily, is an unconventional motor protein primarily associated with mitochondrial dynamics and cellular transport processes. It plays a crucial role in mitochondrial motility, distribution, and processing within various cell types. This protein is particularly interesting due to its unique structure and functional properties, which differ from classical myosins that primarily interact with actin filaments. Research has indicated that MYO19 is involved in the regulation of mitochondrial morphology and function, linking it to vital cellular processes such as energy production and apoptosis. Dysregulation of MYO19 has been implicated in several diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of recombinant MYO19 protein provides valuable insights into its mechanistic roles and interactions within the cell. Understanding the functional dynamics of MYO19 through recombinant technology not only enhances our knowledge of mitochondrial biology but also paves the way for the development of novel therapeutic approaches aimed at mitigating diseases associated with mitochondrial dysfunction.
