Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC2A10, also known as GLUT10, is a member of the glucose transporter family, primarily involved in the transport of hexoses and other substrates across the plasma membrane of cells. The gene encoding SLC2A10 is associated with systemic conditions such as familial hyperuricemia and arterial calcification, highlighting its significance in human health. Recent studies have indicated that SLC2A10 may play a role in vascular smooth muscle cell function, influencing cellular metabolism and contributing to diseases like atherosclerosis and vascular aging. The characterization of SLC2A10 as a recombinant protein is essential for further understanding its structure-function relationship, substrate specificity, and interaction with other proteins. The production and study of SLC2A10 recombinant protein provide valuable insights into its biochemical properties and potential therapeutic implications. Through in vitro and in vivo experimental approaches, researchers aim to elucidate the physiological roles of SLC2A10, paving the way for novel strategies to address related cardiovascular and metabolic disorders.
