Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CTNNA2 (Catenin Alpha 2) is a member of the catenin family, playing a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling pathways, particularly within the nervous system. This protein is prominently expressed in the brain, where it is involved in synaptic function and neurodevelopment. Recent studies have implicated CTNNA2 in various neuropsychiatric disorders, including schizophrenia and autism spectrum disorders, suggesting it may influence cognitive and behavioral outcomes. Understanding its structure and function is essential for elucidating its role in these conditions. The recombinant expression of CTNNA2 allows for detailed investigation of its biochemical properties, interactions with other proteins, and cellular localization. This research is vital for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neural connectivity and the potential therapeutic implications for associated disorders. Overall, CTNNA2 stands as a promising target for further studies aimed at developing interventions for neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions.
