Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CSTF2, or Cleavage Stimulation Factor 2, is a critical component involved in the regulation of mRNA polyadenylation and transcription termination, processes essential for gene expression and RNA stability. As a part of the multi-protein complex that binds to the pre-mRNA, CSTF2 plays a significant role in controlling the length of the poly(A) tail, which affects mRNA lifespan and translation efficiency. Dysregulation of CSTF2 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancers and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker and therapeutic target. Recent advancements in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of CSTF2, allowing for detailed biochemical studies and structural analysis. Research focusing on the functional characterization of CSTF2 aims to elucidate its mechanisms of action and interactions with other spliceosome components. Furthermore, investigations into how mutations in CSTF2 contribute to disease pathogenesis are crucial for understanding its biological significance. Overall, the study of CSTF2 recombinant protein is vital for unraveling the complexities of pre-mRNA processing and its implications in health and disease.
