Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC25A43 is a member of the solute carrier (SLC) family, which plays a critical role in mitochondrial functions, specifically in the transport of metabolites across the mitochondrial membrane. Recent studies have highlighted its potential involvement in various metabolic processes, including the regulation of oxidative phosphorylation and the modulation of cellular energy homeostasis. Given its implications in metabolic diseases and mitochondrial dysfunction, SLC25A43 has emerged as a target of interest for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions. The research on recombinant SLC25A43 protein aims to elucidate its functional characteristics, transport mechanisms, and interactions with other cellular components. By expressing and purifying this protein in a heterologous system, scientists can investigate its substrate specificity, kinetic properties, and potential regulatory roles in mitochondrial metabolism. Understanding SLC25A43 at the protein level could provide insights into therapeutic approaches for diseases linked to mitochondrial dysfunction, such as certain neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. Thus, the study of recombinant SLC25A43 protein is crucial for advancing our knowledge of mitochondrial biology and developing novel strategies for disease intervention.
