Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DNA helicase B (DnaB) is a vital enzyme in prokaryotic DNA replication, playing a crucial role in unwinding the double-stranded DNA to facilitate the replication fork's progression. Its function is critical for ensuring accurate and efficient genome duplication, making it a key area of study in molecular biology. DnaB operates in concert with other replication factors, forming a multi-protein complex that coordinates various steps of DNA replication. Research into DnaB has revealed its mechanistic functions and interactions with other proteins, such as primase and clamp loader complexes, providing insights into the regulation of DNA replication. Furthermore, studies have shown that DnaB helicase activity is essential for cell viability, and its dysfunctional variants can lead to genomic instability and cell death. Due to its essential role, DnaB is also a potential target for antibiotic development, as inhibiting its function could impede bacterial growth and replication. Understanding the structural and functional properties of DnaB not only enriches our knowledge of replication mechanisms but also opens pathways for innovative therapeutic strategies against bacterial infections. Thus, the research on DnaB helicase encompasses a broad scope, linking fundamental biological processes with potential clinical applications.
