Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
NUP133 is an essential nucleoporins that plays a critical role in the composition and function of the nuclear pore complex (NPC), which regulates nucleocytoplasmic transport. Structurally, NUP133 is characterized by its large structure, containing multiple repeat regions that facilitate interactions with other nucleoporins and transport receptors. Research has highlighted that mutations in NUP133 can lead to various cellular dysfunctions and are associated with several diseases, including cancer. The study of NUP133 recombinant protein has gained significant attention, as it provides insights into the assembly and dynamics of the NPC. By producing NUP133 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to unravel its structural properties, understand its role in transport mechanisms across the nuclear membrane, and elucidate its potential interactions with other transport-related proteins. Additionally, recombinant NUP133 can be used in biochemical assays to screen for inhibitors or modulators that may influence its function, shedding light on therapeutic avenues for diseases linked to nucleocytoplasmic transport dysregulation. As such, the investigation of NUP133 and its recombinant forms is crucial for advancing our understanding of nuclear transport processes, cellular homeostasis, and the development of targeted interventions in related pathologies.
