Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ADAM9 (A Disintegrin and Metalloproteinase 9) is a member of the ADAM family, which plays a critical role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, migration, and proteolysis. Research has shown that ADAM9 is implicated in cancer progression and metastasis, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. The protein's structure includes a disintegrin domain and a metalloproteinase domain, allowing it to interact with various substrates and engage in proteolytic activity. Understanding the regulation of ADAM9 expression and activity is crucial, as its dysregulation has been associated with aggressive tumor phenotypes and poor patient outcomes. Recombinant ADAM9 proteins are produced to study its functions and interactions with other proteins in both physiological and pathological contexts. Such studies utilize techniques like enzyme activity assays and binding assays, contributing to the elucidation of the role of ADAM9 in tumor biology. Additionally, the development of ADAM9 inhibitors could provide new avenues for cancer treatment, enhancing the potential for targeted therapies. Overall, the investigation of ADAM9 not only deepens our understanding of its biological significance but also holds promise for clinical applications in oncology.
