Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLBP (Stem Loop Binding Protein) is a crucial factor in the regulation of histone mRNA synthesis and processing. It plays a vital role in the cell cycle, particularly during DNA replication where the synthesis of histones is essential for chromatin assembly. The regulation of SLBP activity is tightly linked to histone gene expression, which is typically synchronized with the cell division cycle. Research on SLBP and its recombinant protein form has expanded in recent years, driven by the need to understand its functions in cellular processes and histone mRNA stability. Investigating SLBP's interaction with histone mRNAs and its involvement in their processing provides insights into the mechanisms behind gene regulation during cell proliferation. Furthermore, aberrant regulation of histone synthesis and processing, often influenced by SLBP, may contribute to various diseases, including cancer. Therefore, the recombinant expression of SLBP not only aids in elucidating its functional characteristics but also serves as a potential therapeutic target in conditions where histone dysregulation is implicated. Understanding the structural and functional properties of SLBP through recombinant protein studies can pave the way for developing novel strategies in cancer therapy and interventions aimed at correcting histone-related gene expression imbalances.
