Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Adck2, an essential protein involved in mitochondrial function, is part of the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family and plays a pivotal role in the metabolism of fatty acids and energy production. Mutations and deficiencies in Adck2 have been linked to various metabolic disorders, particularly those affecting muscle and cardiac function. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of Adck2 in the biosynthesis of coenzyme Q10, a vital component in the electron transport chain that is crucial for ATP production in cells. This has led to increased interest in understanding the biochemical pathways associated with Adck2 and its implications for mitochondrial diseases. Researchers are particularly focused on the recombinant expression of Adck2 to facilitate structural and functional studies. By producing Adck2 as a recombinant protein, scientists can investigate its enzymatic activity, interaction with other proteins, and its role in cellular metabolism. This research is not only aimed at elucidating the fundamental biology of Adck2 but also at exploring potential therapeutic avenues for conditions related to its dysfunction. Overall, the study of Adck2 and its recombinant protein is a critical area of investigation with implications for both basic science and clinical applications in metabolic and mitochondrial disorders.
