Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COPG2, or Coatomer Protein Complex Subunit Gamma 2, is a crucial component of the coatomer complex involved in retrograde transport in the Golgi apparatus and endoplasmic reticulum (ER). Research on COPG2 has gained significance due to its role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating membrane trafficking. Disruptions in COPG2 function have been linked to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of its structure and function. The study of recombinant COPG2 proteins allows researchers to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying its activity and interactions with other cellular components. Additionally, the generation of recombinant COPG2 provides valuable tools for biophysical characterization, functional assays, and potential therapeutic applications. Insights gained from these studies could pave the way for novel treatment strategies targeting COPG2-related pathways, making it a promising focus for ongoing research in cell biology and disease pathology.
