Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COPB (coatomer protein complex subunit beta) is a pivotal component of the COPI (coat protein complex I) machinery, which plays a crucial role in the intracellular transport of proteins between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi apparatus. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of COPB in maintaining cellular homeostasis, regulating membrane trafficking, and participating in the secretion pathway. Abnormalities in COPB functions can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, making it a significant target for therapeutic interventions. The research on COPB recombinant proteins aims to elucidate the functional mechanisms underlying its role in vesicle formation and cargo selection. By studying its structure and interaction with other proteins, researchers hope to develop strategies to modulate COPB activity, potentially offering new avenues for treating diseases linked to dysfunctional protein transport. This research area is particularly relevant as understanding COPB dynamics may contribute to broader insights into cell physiology and the molecular basis of various pathological conditions. Furthermore, recombinant COPB proteins can serve as important tools in biotechnological applications, such as protein engineering and drug delivery systems. Hence, the investigation of COPB recombinant proteins is a vital step in advancing our knowledge of cellular transport mechanisms and developing innovative therapeutic approaches.
