Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COPB2 (coatomer protein complex subunit beta 2) is a crucial component of the coatomer complex involved in the transport of proteins within the Golgi apparatus and between the Golgi and the endoplasmic reticulum. Research into recombinant COPB2 protein has gained significant attention due to its potential implications in understanding cellular trafficking, as disruptions in this process can lead to various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. The study of COPB2 as a recombinant protein facilitates the investigation of its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to elucidate its role in intracellular transport mechanisms. Additionally, the expression of COPB2 in a controlled environment allows for the exploration of protein-protein interactions and its involvement in signaling pathways related to cell growth and differentiation. With advancements in biotechnology, including the use of expression systems such as bacteria, yeast, or mammalian cells, researchers can produce COPB2 in sufficient quantities for structural studies and functional assays. Understanding the functional dynamics of COPB2 is not only essential for basic cell biology but also has potential therapeutic implications, as targeting its pathways may offer new strategies for treating diseases associated with cellular transport dysfunction. Consequently, the investigation of recombinant COPB2 has the potential to deepen our understanding of cellular organization and identify novel approaches for therapeutic intervention.
