Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS6KA6, also known as RSK4 (ribosomal S6 kinase 4), is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, proliferation, and survival. It is part of the RSK family of kinases, which are activated by mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase signaling pathways, primarily in response to extracellular stimuli. Research on RPS6KA6 is of particular interest due to its involvement in cancer biology, where dysregulation of signaling pathways often contributes to tumorigenesis. Studies have shown that RPS6KA6 can modulate multiple downstream target proteins, influencing essential processes such as protein synthesis and gene expression. Additionally, it has been suggested that RPS6KA6 may participate in the development of resistance to certain therapies, making it a potential target for therapeutic intervention. Given its diverse functions and implications in disease, including various cancers and neurological disorders, understanding the structure and function of RPS6KA6 through recombinant protein studies can provide critical insights into its biological roles and pave the way for potential clinical applications. Recombinant RPS6KA6 protein can be utilized to analyze its enzymatic activity, interaction with substrate proteins, and impact on signaling pathways, contributing to a deeper understanding of its function in health and disease.
