Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ATG1, also known as ULK1 (Unc-51-like kinase 1) in mammals, plays a critical role in the initiation of autophagy, a cellular degradation process essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress. The study of ATG1 is particularly significant due to its involvement in various physiological and pathological processes, including development, cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, and metabolic disorders. Research has shown that ATG1 acts as a central regulator, linking nutrient sensing pathways, such as the mTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin) pathway, to the autophagic machinery, thereby facilitating the formation of autophagosomes. The recombinant expression of ATG1 protein allows for a detailed investigation of its functional domains, interactions with other autophagy-related proteins, and the elucidation of its molecular mechanisms. Moreover, understanding the structure and function of ATG1 can provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for diseases where autophagy is dysregulated. As such, ATG1 serves as a focal point for research aimed at unraveling the complexities of autophagy and its implications in health and disease. Enhanced knowledge in this area could lead to novel strategies for disease intervention, particularly in conditions characterized by impaired autophagic processes.
