Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TLK1 (topoisomerase I-binding protein 1) is a crucial protein involved in DNA damage response and cell cycle regulation. Its role in facilitating the binding of topoisomerase I to DNA is pivotal for the maintenance of genomic integrity during DNA replication and repair. Research has indicated that TLK1 is essential for the proper functioning of various cellular processes, including chromatin remodeling and the regulation of protein kinases. Aberrant expression of TLK1 has been associated with several types of cancer, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. The recombinant expression of TLK1 allows researchers to obtain the protein in a purified form, enabling detailed biochemical and structural studies. These studies can help elucidate the molecular mechanisms by which TLK1 influences cell cycle dynamics and DNA repair pathways. Furthermore, understanding TLK1's interactions with key cellular partners may provide insights into its role in oncogenesis and tumor progression. This knowledge could contribute to the development of novel cancer treatments that harness TLK1's biological functions, providing a pathway for targeted therapies aimed at cancers characterized by TLK1 dysregulation. Consequently, the study of TLK1 recombinant protein is not only instrumental in basic research but also holds promise for advancing clinical applications in oncology.
