Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SF3A2, a critical component of the spliceosomal complex, plays a vital role in the precursor messenger RNA (pre-mRNA) splicing process, which is essential for the maturation of eukaryotic mRNA. Alterations in SF3A2 function have been linked to various diseases, including cancer and genetic disorders, underscoring its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis. Research into SF3A2 recombinant protein is driven by the need to better understand its structure-function relationship and its interaction with other splicing factors. By producing and characterizing recombinant SF3A2, scientists aim to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying alternative splicing, a process that generates diverse protein isoforms from a single gene and is pivotal in regulating gene expression. Furthermore, studying SF3A2 can shed light on the therapeutic potential of targeting splicing pathways in disease contexts, paving the way for novel interventions that could correct aberrant splicing events. Overall, the exploration of SF3A2 and its recombinant variants represents a crucial step in revealing the complexities of the spliceosome and its broader implications in health and disease.
