Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The SDCCAG8 protein has garnered significant research interest due to its potential role in various cellular processes and its association with certain diseases. It is a member of the Sec23-interacting protein family, which plays a crucial role in the secretion pathway and endoplasmic reticulum (ER) function. Studies have indicated that mutations or dysregulation of SDCCAG8 may contribute to ciliopathies, a group of genetic disorders that affect cilia formation and function, leading to a range of clinical manifestations. Moreover, SDCCAG8 has been implicated in cellular responses to stress and apoptosis, further broadening its relevance in understanding disease mechanisms. The development of recombinant SDCCAG8 protein allows for in-depth investigations into its structure, function, and interactions within the cellular environment, facilitating the identification of potential therapeutic targets. As such, the characterization of this protein is not only essential for elucidating its biological roles but also for advancing our knowledge in the fields of molecular biology and medicine, particularly in the context of genetic disorders and related pathways.
