Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHST2 (Carbohydrate Sulfotransferase 2) is a key enzyme involved in the sulfation of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are essential components of the extracellular matrix and play significant roles in cell signaling, proliferation, and adhesion. The sulfation pattern of GAGs influences many biological processes and is critical for the proper functioning of various tissues. Mutations or dysregulation of CHST2 have been implicated in several pathologies, including developmental disorders and cancer, making it a molecule of interest in both basic and applied biomedical research. The recombinant production of CHST2 allows for in-depth studies into its enzymatic activity, substrates, and the effects of different sulfation patterns on cellular processes. By investigating the structural and functional properties of CHST2, researchers aim to unravel its role in health and disease, potentially leading to the development of targeted therapies that harness the sulfation pathways modulated by CHST2. Understanding CHST2's biochemical characteristics could also advance the field of glycomics, contributing to therapeutic strategies in regenerative medicine and cancer treatment. Thus, research on recombinant CHST2 protein not only sheds light on fundamental biological mechanisms but also holds promise for translating findings into clinical applications.
