稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The SCRT1 protein, also known as "Selenocysteine tRNA-specific protein 1," has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its critical role in the incorporation of selenocysteine into proteins, which is vital for numerous biological functions. Selenocysteine is often referred to as the 21st amino acid and is crucial for the activity of various selenoproteins, which are involved in antioxidant defense, thyroid hormone metabolism, and redox regulation. Research has shown that SCRT1 is essential for the proper functioning of the translational machinery that recognizes the UGA codon as a signal for selenocysteine incorporation rather than as a stop codon. Dysregulation of SCRT1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target. The study of SCRT1's structure, function, and interactions within cellular pathways is fundamental for understanding how selenoprotein synthesis is regulated and its implications in health and disease. Furthermore, SCRT1's interactions with other molecular components can provide insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying selenoprotein-related functions. Ongoing research aims to elucidate the precise role of SCRT1 in these processes and its contribution to the broader field of molecular biology and biochemistry, paving the way for potential innovative strategies in disease prevention and treatment.
