Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CHFR (Checkpoint with Forkhead and RING finger domains) is a ubiquitin ligase that plays a critical role in the cellular response to DNA damage and the maintenance of genomic stability. Its involvement in the G2/M checkpoint suggests it functions as a tumor suppressor, particularly in cancer biology. Research has shown that CHFR is often downregulated or mutated in various cancers, which correlates with increased cell proliferation and resistance to chemotherapeutic agents. Understanding the structure and function of CHFR, particularly through the production of recombinant CHFR proteins, is essential for unraveling its complex mechanisms in cell cycle regulation and DNA damage response. Previous studies indicate that CHFR interacts with multiple substrates to modulate their stability and function, influencing cell division and the DNA damage repair pathway. The generation of recombinant CHFR proteins enables detailed biochemical and structural studies, facilitating the exploration of its enzymatic activity and interaction partners. This research not only sheds light on the fundamental biology of CHFR but also has implications for therapeutic interventions in malignancies characterized by CHFR dysfunction. By elucidating the molecular basis of CHFR's actions, scientists aim to develop targeted strategies to enhance cancer treatment efficacy and improve patient outcomes in cases where CHFR is implicated.
