  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TNK2 (Tyrosine Kinase 2) is a non-receptor protein kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including signal transduction, cytoskeletal organization, and immune responses. As a member of the ACK (Activated Cdc42-associated kinase) family, TNK2 is implicated in the modulation of multiple signaling pathways, notably those involving Rho GTPases. Recent studies have suggested that TNK2 influences cell migration and proliferation, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions in cancer and other diseases characterized by dysregulated cell signaling. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression and purification of TNK2 to elucidate its structural properties and functional mechanisms. This research aims to provide insights into its interactions with downstream effectors and regulatory proteins, contributing to a better understanding of its role in cell biology. By creating functional recombinant proteins, scientists can explore TNK2's kinase activity and its effects on cellular phenotype, which may ultimately lead to the development of novel strategies for treating conditions linked to aberrant TNK2 activity. The ongoing investigation into TNK2 also highlights its potential as a biomarker for certain diseases, further emphasizing the importance of studying this kinase in both basic and translational research contexts.
