Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
S100A4, a member of the S100 protein family, has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its crucial role in various cellular processes, including cell motility, differentiation, and apoptosis. This protein is characterized by the presence of two calcium-binding sites and is involved in the regulation of a number of physiological and pathological processes, particularly in the context of cancer metastasis and inflammation. Elevated levels of S100A4 have been associated with poor prognosis in various cancers, as it promotes tumor cell invasion and enhances metastasis by modulating the cytoskeleton and facilitating epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Furthermore, S100A4 is implicated in fibrotic diseases and tissue reparative processes, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. Given its significant roles, the study of recombinant S100A4 protein offers valuable insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions within cellular pathways. By producing and characterizing S100A4 in recombinant form, researchers can investigate its structural properties, binding interactions, and regulatory functions in vitro. This knowledge is essential for understanding how S100A4 contributes to disease pathology and may pave the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity in cancer and other related conditions. As a result, S100A4 is not only a relevant biomarker for diagnosis and prognosis but also a promising target for innovative therapeutic interventions.
