Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CENTB1 (Centromere Protein B1) is a protein that has garnered attention in the field of cellular biology due to its critical role in cell division and its involvement in centromere function. Centromeres are essential for the proper segregation of chromosomes during mitosis and meiosis, and any dysfunction in centromere proteins like CENTB1 can lead to chromosomal instability, which is often implicated in various diseases, including cancer. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of CENTB1 in the assembly and maintenance of the kinetochore, a protein complex that mediates chromosome movement. Furthermore, research has shown that CENTB1's interactions with other centromere-associated proteins contribute to the correct positioning and stability of chromosomes during cell division. Understanding the structure and function of CENTB1 through methods such as recombinant protein expression and purification has become crucial for exploring its biochemical properties and mechanisms of action. Investigating CENTB1's role not only enhances our knowledge of cellular processes but also opens potential avenues for therapeutic targeting in diseases characterized by chromosomal abnormalities. As research progresses, CENTB1 continues to be a significant focus for scientists aiming to unravel the complexities of cell cycle regulation and genomic integrity.
