Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BAFFR (B-cell Activating Factor Receptor) is a critical receptor involved in the regulation of B cell function and survival, playing a pivotal role in immune responses. It specifically binds to BAFF (B-cell Activating Factor), a cytokine that promotes B cell maturation and persistence. The study of BAFFR is particularly important due to its implications in autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus erythematosus and rheumatoid arthritis, where dysregulation of B cells contributes to pathogenesis. Researchers have focused on the recombinant expression of BAFFR to understand its structural and functional properties, which can aid in the development of targeted therapies. By characterizing the interactions between BAFFR and its ligands, scientists aim to delineate the signaling pathways involved in B cell activation and differentiation. Moreover, recombinant BAFFR proteins serve as valuable tools in drug discovery, enabling the screening of compounds that may modulate its activity. This research not only enhances our understanding of the immune system but also opens up potential therapeutic avenues for treating B cell-related disorders. As a result, investigations into BAFFR and its recombinant forms are at the forefront of immunological research, promising insights into both basic biology and clinical applications.
