Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CR2, also known as complement receptor 2, is a critical protein involved in immune responses, specifically in the activation of B cells and the clearance of immune complexes. This receptor binds to complement fragments, facilitating the uptake of antigens by B cells and promoting their activation and differentiation into antibody-producing plasma cells. Research into CR2 recombinant proteins has gained traction as scientists strive to understand its structural and functional dynamics in both physiological and pathological contexts. Such investigations are particularly relevant in the fields of immunology and molecular biology, where elucidating CR2's role could lead to advancements in therapeutic strategies for autoimmune diseases, infections, and cancers. By generating and characterizing CR2 recombinant proteins, researchers aim to decipher the molecular mechanisms driving B cell responses and to explore how modulation of CR2 activity might enhance vaccine efficacy or improve immune system function. The potential applications of CR2 research extend to developing new immunotherapies and enhancing diagnostic tools, making it a focal point in contemporary biomedical research.
