Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RPS28, or Ribosomal Protein S28, is a vital component of the ribosomal machinery in eukaryotic cells, playing a significant role in ribosome assembly and function. It is part of the small ribosomal subunit and is essential for the translation of mRNA into proteins. Research into recombinant RPS28 protein has gained momentum due to its potential applications in structural biology and therapeutic development. Understanding the precise structure and function of RPS28 can provide insights into ribosomal dynamics and the mechanisms of translation, which are crucial for cellular processes. Additionally, abnormalities in ribosomal proteins, including RPS28, have been linked to various human diseases, including cancers and ribosomopathies, making it a target for drug discovery. The production and characterization of recombinant RPS28 facilitate the study of its interactions with other ribosomal components and mRNA, thereby enhancing our grasp of protein synthesis. Such studies could potentially lead to novel approaches for targeting ribosomal dysfunctions in diseases, opening new avenues for therapeutic interventions. As a result, the research surrounding RPS28 not only contributes to our fundamental understanding of cellular biology but also holds promise for novel biomedical applications.
