Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
UspD (Universal stress protein D) is a member of the universal stress protein family, which plays a crucial role in bacterial stress responses, particularly under conditions of nutrient limitation or environmental stress. Research into UspD has gained momentum due to its potential implications in bacterial survival, pathogenesis, and antibiotic resistance. UspD protein is highly conserved across various bacterial species, which indicates its fundamental importance in cellular processes. Studies have shown that UspD is involved in the modulation of stress-related gene expression, acting as a regulator that aids bacteria in adapting to hostile environments. Given the increasing global challenge of antibiotic resistance, understanding the functions and mechanisms of UspD can provide critical insights into novel therapeutic strategies for combating bacterial infections. Furthermore, the ability to express and characterize recombinant UspD protein allows researchers to elucidate its structural and functional properties, paving the way for advancements in microbial biotechnology and medicine. Overall, analyzing UspD not only enhances our understanding of bacterial physiology but may also lead to the development of innovative approaches to manipulate bacterial behavior in both clinical and industrial settings.
