稳定性测试
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
保存条件 & 期限
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

运输条件
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The study of TPH1 (tryptophan hydroxylase 1) recombinant protein is driven by its crucial role in the biosynthesis of serotonin, a key neurotransmitter involved in mood regulation, cognition, and various physiological processes. TPH1 is primarily expressed in the peripheral tissues, particularly in the brain and enterochromaffin cells of the gut, where it catalyzes the conversion of tryptophan to 5-hydroxytryptophan, the first step in serotonin production. Dysfunctional TPH1 activity has been implicated in various psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Given the growing interest in pharmacotherapeutic strategies targeting serotonin pathways, the recombinant expression of TPH1 allows for the production of large quantities of the enzyme, facilitating biochemical studies, high-throughput screening of potential inhibitors, and the development of novel antidepressant therapies. Furthermore, characterizing the recombinant TPH1 protein can provide insights into its structural and functional properties, revealing mechanisms that regulate its activity. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled researchers to explore the enzyme's kinetic parameters, substrate specificity, and interaction with co-factors, paving the way for a better understanding of serotonin-related disorders. Overall, the investigation of TPH1 recombinant protein is essential for advancing our understanding of serotonergic signaling and its implications for mental health and disease management.
