Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC5 (Coiled-Coil Domain Containing 5) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years for its potential roles in cellular processes and disease mechanisms. Initial studies have indicated that CCDC5 may be involved in the regulation of cytokine signaling and cellular responses, particularly in the context of inflammation and immune responses. Furthermore, CCDC5 has been linked to various pathological conditions, including autoimmune diseases and certain types of cancer, highlighting its relevance in understanding disease mechanisms. The recombinant expression of CCDC5 protein allows researchers to study its structure, function, and interaction with other cellular components in a controlled environment. By producing this protein in a heterologous system, scientists can investigate its biochemical properties and potential as a therapeutic target or biomarker. The study of CCDC5 through recombinant protein technology is essential for elucidating its biological functions and contributions to human health and disease, thereby providing insights that may lead to new diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
