  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

YdhR is a gene found in various bacterial species, notably Escherichia coli, and encodes a protein implicated in diverse cellular processes, including stress response and metabolic regulation. Recent studies have indicated that YdhR may play a crucial role in the bacterial adaptation to environmental stressors, influencing survival under unfavorable conditions. Given its potential impact on bacterial physiology, YdhR has garnered attention for its role in biofilm formation and pathogenicity. Additionally, the protein has been suggested to have regulatory functions, possibly affecting gene expression and interactions with other cellular components. The investigation of recombinant YdhR protein aims to elucidate its structural properties, functional mechanisms, and potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. By producing this protein in a recombinant system, researchers can study its interactions at a molecular level, paving the way for biotechnological applications such as the development of novel antimicrobial agents or tools for genetic engineering. Understanding YdhR's functionality and regulatory networks could also contribute to the broader knowledge of bacterial resilience and adaptation strategies, potentially leading to innovative approaches in managing bacterial infections and biofilm-associated challenges.
