Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CCDC42, or Coiled-Coil Domain Containing Protein 42, is a member of the CCDC family and plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including cytoskeletal organization, cell division, and intracellular transport. Research has shown that CCDC42 interacts with multiple proteins involved in signaling pathways and cellular structure maintenance, suggesting its critical function in cellular integrity and function. The study of CCDC42 recombinant proteins is crucial for understanding its biological roles at the molecular level and its implication in diseases, particularly cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. By producing and characterizing CCDC42 recombinant proteins, researchers can investigate its structure-function relationship, elucidate its interaction partners, and explore its regulatory mechanisms within the cell. This research not only contributes to the fundamental understanding of cellular dynamics but also holds potential for therapeutic applications, as targeting CCDC42-related pathways may offer new strategies for disease intervention. Through advanced techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and protein crystallization, the insights gained from CCDC42 studies could pave the way for novel drug development and therapeutics aimed at modulating its activity in pathological conditions. In summary, the investigation of CCDC42 recombinant proteins is a promising field that combines basic research with translational implications, thereby underscoring the relevance of this protein in health and disease.
