Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ompX is a gene found in various Gram-negative bacteria, including Escherichia coli, and encodes an outer membrane protein that plays a crucial role in maintaining bacterial integrity and facilitating interactions with the environment. The study of OmpX recombinant protein has garnered attention due to its potential applications in vaccine development, diagnostics, and understanding bacterial pathogenesis. Research has demonstrated that OmpX is involved in processes such as nutrient uptake, antibiotic resistance, and biofilm formation, highlighting its significance in both basic and applied microbiology. Moreover, the expression and purification of OmpX as a recombinant protein allow for detailed structural and functional analyses, which are essential for elucidating its mechanism of action and interactions with host immune systems. Understanding OmpX's role in bacterial physiology and host-pathogen interactions can lead to innovative strategies in combating bacterial infections, particularly in the face of rising antibiotic resistance. Consequently, OmpX represents a promising target for therapeutic intervention and a valuable tool for advancing our knowledge of bacterial behavior and resilience.
