Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
RHCG (Rhesus-associated Glycoprotein) is part of the Rhesus blood group system and plays a crucial role in ammonia transport across cell membranes. It is primarily expressed in the kidneys and the central nervous system and contributes to maintaining acid-base balance and nitrogen homeostasis. Research into RHCG has gained prominence due to its integral function in renal physiology and the potential implications of its dysregulation in various pathophysiological conditions, such as metabolic acidosis and renal diseases. Furthermore, the study of RHCG is essential for understanding its interactions with other transport proteins and its role in the immune response. The recombinant protein produced from RHCG can be used to investigate its structural properties and functional mechanisms, providing insights into its physiological roles and potential therapeutic targets. Understanding RHCG’s biophysical characteristics through recombinant technologies may pave the way for novel strategies in treating related disorders and enhance our comprehension of ammonia transport processes in mammals. Additionally, advancements in recombinant protein expression techniques have enabled researchers to produce RHCG in sufficient quantities for biochemical and biophysical analysis, facilitating a deeper exploration of its significance in health and disease.
