  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

RHBDF1 (Rhomboid Family Domain Containing 1) is a member of the Rhomboid family of intramembrane serine proteases, involved in various cellular processes, including signaling pathways and protein regulation. Recent studies have highlighted its potential role in the regulation of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling, suggesting that RHBDF1 may influence cell proliferation and differentiation. Aberrant expression of RHBDF1 has been associated with several diseases, including cancer, making it a target of interest for therapeutic interventions. The production of recombinant RHBDF1 protein is essential for elucidating its functional mechanisms and exploring its interactions with other cellular proteins. Understanding the structure-function relationship of RHBDF1 will provide insights into its biological roles and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in diseases where EGFR signaling is disrupted. Advances in recombinant protein techniques allow for the generation of RHBDF1 in sufficient quantities for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterization, paving the way for future studies aimed at deciphering its precise role in cellular pathways and assessing its potential in clinical applications. As research progresses, the implications of RHBDF1 in health and disease will become increasingly significant, highlighting the importance of continued investigation into this intriguing protein.
